Global Category Manager vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the pharmaceutical sector .
Your tasks:
1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies for various categories
2. Leading cross-functional project teams to create added value within the categories
3. Analyzing complex financial data using TCO, TEI, NPV, and cost modeling
4. Managing procurement processes and contract management
5. Adapting to an ever-changing, complex environment and contributing to process improvement
Your experience/knowledge:
6. 7+ years of in-depth strategic and operational procurement experience with a strong understanding of category management
7. 7+ years of overall business experience, including working within a regulated industry
8. Strong sub-category expertise and a proven track record in sourcing
9. Capability of leading cross-functional project teams to generate material value across multiple categories
10. Direct experience in managing category management projects and developing sourcing strategies
11. Proven financial and business acumen, including TCO, TEI, NPV, and cost modeling, as well as exceptional communication and project management skills
Your soft skills:
12. Ability to communicate effectively is crucial for working in cross-functional project teams and for success in negotiations, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
13. Willingness and ability to adapt to an ever-changing and complex environment and contribute to process improvement demonstrate adaptability
