Description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Data Compliance Manager is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining a database specifically related to Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) activities, ensuring accurate data entry, regulatory compliance, and reporting on emissions monitoring within an industrial facility. The Data Compliance Manager will own the process of the digital record-keeping system for identifying and fixing leaks in equipment that could release harmful substances into the environment.
The Data Compliance Manager will demonstrate:
* Full accountability of all databases on site focused on the Calibration and Maintenance of Monitoring data with operational support, procedure management, field support, component and inspections look up.
* Communication with field team, site manager and client.
* Inputting details about equipment, lead detection results, repair actions and other relevant information into the LDAR database.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
* Providing coaching and mentoring to help team members reach goals and gain competency. Assessing LDAR staff competencies. Support employee corrective action when needed and provide support to Site Supervisor on performance reviews for all team members.
* Validation and quality control of all data, documentation, training, and auditing as required by PROtect QTA Program as well as customer specific requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Calibration Integrity
* Audit Program
* Record Management
* Equipment troubleshooting/maintenance
* Assist with the following routine tasks, as assigned:
o LDAR Monitoring
o BWON Monitoring
o New Hire Training
o Staff Training and Competency
o Written, practical, and field assessments/comparative monitoring
o Scheduling of Routes
* Supporting and maintaining Quality Management policies and procedures by project standard requirements.
* Actively monitors the work planning process to ensure the required quality inspections, tests and documentation are identified.
* Assist with the scheduling of routes, inspections, and tests (i.e. comparative monitoring) to support the production schedule.
* Facilitates a culture of continuous process improvement among management team, providing resources and collaborating to implement processes that are streamlined and compliant.
* Assists Data/QAQC Tech with preparing and providing high-quality reports to management and customer on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and semi-annual.
* Promote company culture and identify obstacles to success regarding customer opportunities.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* SQL skills are crucial for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data within the LDAR database.
* 5+ years of LDAR experience and knowledge is required.
* Proven knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to leak detections and repair practice.
* Attention to detail and analytical skills

* Safety-oriented attitude with a true commitment to personal safety as well as the safety of others is a must. Must be willing/able to don respiratory protection.
* Must be reliable/dependable with reliable transportation.
Must have US Citizenship.
* Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary. May be required to travel up to 20%.
