For our international medical partner, Roche Diagnostics Int Ltd., we are looking for a qualified and motivated Principal Researcher - Usability and CX Lab for one year with an option for extension.
Roche Diagnostics Global Customer Experience and Solution Design Team (CXSD team) is looking for a passionate UX Researcher for Usability Lab to redefine Roche User Interface and Product design and transform the Healthcare industry for the better.
At CXSD, you will join an international group of more than 50 researchers and designers that serve our purpose to bring the voice of customers to the core of Roche Diagnostics decisions by designing and enabling a seamless patient-centric experience across our portfolio of products and services. You will be part of a motivated team whose mission is to scale up the usability testing practice within the company, automate processes around usability testing as a formative evaluation method, identification of key partners, training, and evangelizing usability testing methods.
Tasks:
* Identify user profiles, tasks, hazard-related use scenarios, usability risks, and requirements.
* Translate UX research insights, user needs, business requirements, and technical requirements into pleasant and efficient User Experiences.
* Plan and execute formative usability studies.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior designers, supporting them on professional development, output, and productivity.
* Cooperate with the UX and Human Factors team to identify synergies and improve our processes, shared methods, and templates.
* Advocate for accessibility, quality, and usability for end-users.
* Support team members on the usability testing process and methods.
Must Haves:
* A BSc in Science, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, or other related technical fields.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience with formative evaluation methods, including usability testing.
* Experience collecting and analyzing physiological and behavioral data.
* Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate know-how, experiences, ideas, solutions, and deliverables effectively and persuasively.
* Knowledgeable about tools or platforms to automate usability testing.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to usability testing and other formative evaluation methods.
* Fluent in English.
