Job Summary:
Manage the Onboarding & Periodic Reviews team and oversee all KYC/AML processes to ensure proper risk management and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversight of Onboarding & Periodic Reviews activities.
* Management of the Onboarding & Periodic Reviews team across three locations, defining priorities, setting goals and leading people.
* Provide support and guidance to the team and front office.
* Escalate sensitive and/or urgent issues to the Head of Financial Crime or their deputy.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and foreign Compliance units.
* Prepare for internal and external audits.
* Prepare management reports, statistics and KPI for internal use and Group Compliance.
* Develop training programs for compliance and front office staff.
* Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes affecting business or processes.
* Promote compliance awareness and support risk culture development within the bank.
* Maintain and enhance Onboarding & Periodic Reviews processes, systems and tools.
Professional Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in Compliance, particularly in client onboarding, financial crime and transaction monitoring.
* Certificate of advanced studies in Compliance or specialized certificates are a plus.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Knowledge of Private banking, Wealth Management and Asset Management.
* Good understanding of commercial challenges.
* Solution-driven and pragmatic mindset.
* Flexibility and resourcefulness.
* Ability to work across different functions.
* Frequent travel around Switzerland may be required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English, French, German, Swiss German and/or Italian.
