KEY INFORMATION
For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600 CHF/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900 CHF/month.
We cannot guarantee that the internship will lead to a permanent position, but thanks to the effective training, ~70% of interns stay with the company after the internship period!
Eligibility Requirements (must have):
You have a student status in April 2025 OR graduated in or after February-March 2025.
You have an EU or EEA (European Economic Area) valid passport.
YOUR INTERNSHIP ROLE
We are looking for a Merchandiser Intern to join Timberland within the VF EMEA Internship Program.
The Merchandiser Intern will support the team in:
Lineplan Weekly Updates: Update and maintain the line plan on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate representation of product assortment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate any changes or updates to the line plan.
Support in the preparation of the Go To Market (GTM) milestones: Conduct consumer and competitor research, price comparisons, update product overviews, and provide analysis for the Merchandising Manager and support forecasting.
Data Management/System Maintenance: Accurately populate the Product Line Management Software (PLM) with adoption and flags (Intent to Sell, Status...).
Providing support to Marketing for the Catalogue Creation: Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure the seamless flow of product information for key looks definition and catalogue production, providing accurate and up-to-date product details, imagery, and descriptions as per marketing requirements.
Support Special Make Unit (SMU) process: Collect SMU requests from Marketplace and Direct to Consumer (DTC) teams, support and coordinate with global merchandising and design teams, and ensure PLM system setup.
Samples Management: Pack drops from the old collection, organize by categories, and label boxes for proper storage. Split the new collection by product line and IDDs (Initial Delivery Dates) for efficient accessibility to other functions (e.g., Visual Merchandising), label each sample with relevant information (RRP, discrepancies), and support in collecting and providing samples requested by other departments (shootings, prelines).
Answer ad hoc requests regarding Product Information: Liaise with Global to gather missing information and record video trainings.
