Job Description
Your mission:
To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a DORA Business Analyst - Business Consultant (Compliance / Regulatory). Our mission is for one of our clients, a major/global financial institution.
Your responsibilities:
* You will ensure compliance with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) regulations, contributing to the overall operational resilience strategy.
* You will assist in all areas to ensure effective implementation of DORA, collaborating with stakeholders to align processes and practices with regulatory requirements.
* You will provide IT risk-related guidance to all areas of the branch and supply relevant information to the IT Security and Governance Manager and Head of Operations, as required.
* You will contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that IT security and governance operate according to established rules and published procedures.
* You will adapt to evolving business, technical, and regulatory needs, ensuring that procedures are enhanced accordingly to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness.
* You will ensure up-to-date training is maintained for staff on DORA compliance and arrange effective cross-training to enhance overall knowledge and capabilities.
* You will assist in departmental procedures, ensuring strict adherence and regular reviews that incorporate new products, processes, and regulatory updates.
* You will ensure adequate controls are in place in accordance with internal and external regulatory bodies' requirements and compliance directives, reporting any areas of risk or concern pertinent to IT.
* You will aid in the identification and analysis of new requirements for streamlining or tightening controls, subsequently developing and implementing strategies to increase productivity and enhance control over ICT Risk and IT Security Risk.
Qualifications
Your profile and skills:
* You justify a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
* You possess proven senior experience in overseeing or leading complex projects, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
* You possess a strong understanding of EU DORA regulations and their implications for the financial sector.
* You have knowledge of EBA outsourcing regulations and best practices.
* You possess experience in IT third-party risk (TPR) management and the associated compliance requirements.
* You demonstrate knowledge of IT governance frameworks and their application within the organization.
* You have experience with resilience testing processes and controls, ensuring operational readiness.
* You are familiar with IT risk management techniques and controls to mitigate potential threats.
* You are knowledgeable about GDPR requirements and their impact on data management and privacy.
* You show excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* You possess strong written and spoken French and English language skills.
* You possess a valid work permit for Switzerland, or you are an EU national and willing to relocate to Zurich.
