We are offering a permanent position as a Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d) in our Road Division at the Pratteln location as soon as possible, as part of our Customer Desk.
The Customer Desk is the first point of contact for all Swiss export customers who are served from our Pratteln location. You are responsible for proactively handling customer inquiries and providing an efficient interface to operations. Your goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, optimize the customer experience, and build long-term customer relationships – before, during, and after transport.
Your Tasks
1. Customer Support: Handling national and international customer inquiries in the export area via email and phone in German and English, and partially in French.
2. Order Processing: Acceptance, review, and initial entry of incoming customer orders as well as conducting customs clearance checks.
3. Coordination: Close cooperation with internal departments, especially operations and the customs department, to ensure smooth shipment processes.
4. Complaint Management: First point of contact for customer inquiries or incoming complaints.
5. Data Maintenance: Recording, maintaining, and updating customer data in the internal TMS.
6. Process Optimization: Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Your Profile
1. You have completed training or retraining as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification.
2. You bring extensive professional experience in freight forwarding.
3. You are very familiar with common MS Office applications.
4. Your German and English skills are business fluent, both spoken and written.
5. You work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner.
6. You have a confident appearance, teamwork skills, and strong communication skills.
