Job Title: CRO Assistant
About the Role:
The candidate should have experience providing direction and oversight, guiding the team in risk assessment, and assisting in developing effective risk mitigation plans and supporting the risk function.
In the absence of the CRO, the assistant should be able to perform CRO duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with auditors
* Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and documentation
* Handle conflicting situations with clients and counterparties
Required Qualifications:
Education:
An advanced degree (Master's) in Economics, Finance, Audit, or Legal is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 3-4 years of audit experience at a Big Four firm in bank audits is necessary.
A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in banking risk management or a relevant field is also required.
Effective project management experience is essential.
Required Skills:
* Profound knowledge of the Swiss banking regulatory system
* Knowledge of bank-wide and group-wide policies and procedures
* Executive leadership, presentation, and reporting experience
* Ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts daily
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management across the bank
* Knowledge of Swiss banking regulation/operational risk management is an asset
Languages:
French - native speaker
English - C1 level

* Swiss residency is mandatory for candidates
