Our Business Unit
The Business Unit Advanced Products is where we develop new products that cater to adjacent market areas. We are currently ramping up our latest innovation in pulsing valves for Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) at our customers.
ALD is a crucial process step in manufacturing advanced electronic components, and VAT aims to become a major subsystem and component supplier to the ALD tool industry.
Your Challenges
* Owning the interface with SEMI OEMs regarding commercial and technical aspects of our gas delivery product portfolio.
* Driving innovation by collaborating with engineering teams to solve complex customer problems and define the roadmap for expanding our product portfolio in the gas inlet area.
* Managing the product life cycle across all phases, from development to pricing, training, and marketing documentation.
* Identifying and analyzing market trends and customer technical roadmaps to adapt our product offerings and drive future product requirements.
* Monitoring profitability of OEM accounts and product lines, deriving measures to sustain and increase profitability.
* Supporting sales entities in customer acquisition, product presentations, and negotiations.
* Training sales engineers and customers, establishing technical customer documentation as manuals and product data sheets.
Your Competencies
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a similar field, with a master's degree being advantageous.
* Additonal degree in business, marketing, or innovation development, or proven track record in a commercial role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and/or experience in gas inlet dynamics.
* Product development and management experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
* Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills to structure and influence discussions within the team and with senior management and stakeholders.
* Experience in managing international projects and navigating high-tech component sales in a consolidated market environment.
* Familiarity with the semiconductor market and relevant WFE manufacturing processes.
* Fluent business English skills, with German fluency being highly beneficial.
* Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%).
