PhD Student in Digital Innovation Management 100 %
The position is related to a DIZH Bridge professorship between ZHAW and the University of Zurich (UZH). You will work on research projects that aim to understand the strategies, processes, and skills that enable firms in the digital economy to generate innovations, specifically in mobility and transportation. As a PhD Student, you will become part of the PhD program offered by the Graduate School of Business at the University of Zurich. You will conduct research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thierry Volery (ZHAW) and Prof. Dr. Anja Schulze (University of Zurich).

Starting date: August 1, 2025 (or by mutual agreement)
The successful applicant must be willing to undertake high-level scientific research and to publish in high-quality academic journals. The focus of the research will be in the area of digital innovation management, particularly in the context of mobility. In addition to research and publication as per the PhD program, the candidate will be involved in teaching activities as a teaching assistant and in applied research projects conducted with industry partners.
Minimum Requirements:
* A university graduate degree in Business Administration with a distinction (magna cum laude), Economics or a related field
* Strong analytical skills
* Motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team and across institutions
* Experience in conducting empirical research (exemplified by a master's thesis) is an asset
