A leading innovator in low-power single-chip UWB technology for secure ranging in the automotive industry, offering the lowest power consumption on the market for passive entry and start systems and the smallest silicon area, is looking for a Senior Analog/RF IC Designer to join their design team in Zurich. This position is onsite in the Zurich area.
As a Senior Analog/RF IC Designer, you will work in a multicultural team and contribute to a full transceiver chip in an advanced technology node, being responsible for designing important Analog RF circuit blocks in collaboration with the System and Digital team.
Responsibilities: Contribute to the analog design of complex UWB ICs for the automotive industry.
Develop analog RF circuit blocks (VGA, DCO, Mixer, LNA) including simulation, layout, post-layout validation, and characterization.
Take ownership of a specific part of the transceiver chain.
Verify developed circuits and troubleshoot complex behaviors in the lab.
Document your work with precision and timeliness.
Qualifications and Skills: Degree in electrical engineering, preferably with specialization in microelectronics.
5+ years of experience in designing analog circuits, with a focus on RF circuits for wireless communication; preferably know-how in ADPLLs.
Proficient in using EDA tools such as Cadence.
Employ a precise and clear documenting methodology with excellent written expression.
Exhibit excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
