Your responsibilities
The Business Analyst works in liaison with business stakeholders to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of translating complex business needs into technology-supported business solutions and recommend solutions that enable achieving business goals. He/she contributes to the development and execution of the project plan and is therefore involved throughout the project life cycle, from functional definition, analysis and design, testing, and deployment. He/she is fully aligned with Off-shore Technical BA to support project requirements.
Within this role, he/she will be closely working with customers, team colleagues, project managers, delivery managers, and technical experts to define and deliver Core Banking solutions in different Private Banking business areas. Here are the different activities:
* Lead engagement with the client/business to gather, analyze, refine and document business requirements for delivering the business solution.
* Analysis of customers' business requests, definition of needs, and translate them into functional specifications.
* Lead workshops, brainstorming sessions, and joint development workshops to define/design & deliver specifications such as use cases & user stories.
* Work with Technical Expert to ensure full accountability of the PDS (Product Detailed Specifications). Provide clarifications to project team during the development phase of the project to any queries pertaining to business and functional specifications.
* Arrange and chair meetings with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure new requirements are understood, complete, and accurate.
* Recommend changes to clients in business processes to align with proposed Core Banking System’s processes and to maximize the benefits from the proposed solution.
* Ownership of Artifacts & Collaborative documentation across all phases of the project life cycle.
* As part of the development of the project plan, contribute by providing workload estimates.
* Contribute to preparation of Test Strategy and Test Plan (functional, regression, peripheral testing).
* Prepare and perform functional testing to support UAT. Arbitration of defects - validation against signed-off requirements and assignment to respective teams.
* Contribute to post Go-live checks covering core and external systems impacted.
* Contribute to the realization of entrusted projects.
* Support clients throughout the project phases (requirement gathering, tests, deployment, presentations...).
* Define and develop various services around/for the products and develop the competency required.
