In order to reinforce the Quality team in Hong Kong we are currently recruiting for a Coordinator, Quality Flight Services.
Your Opportunity:
The Coordinator Quality Flight Services supports the Director Quality Flight Services and is responsible for the oversight of all Quality Management system processes and supporting programs including the management of administration of the JBJH/JBJS/JBSM documentation libraries to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and overall effectiveness and performance of these programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversees day to day management of the supporting Quality systems for the Non-Commercial (NCC) and Air Operations Certificates (AOC) in support of our managed customer fleet.
2. This includes responsibilities where required by the customer state of registration and operations NCC/AOC.
3. The performance of internal audits in accordance with the site Audit Program, including JetSafe interfaces, distribution of findings and monitoring of overdue actions and effectiveness of responses.
4. The performance of investigations to determine the root cause, circumstances, and contributing factors and will develop recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence.
5. Develop and monitor the Safety Management System in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and the guidance specified in ICAO Annex 19 to ensure ongoing compliance and make recommendations where applicable.
6. Ensures the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and oversight of QMS personnel.
7. Provide updates to the Accountable Managers on aviation related safety matters, trends, and analysis.
8. Provides summary of identified hazards, safety and quality issues, deficiencies in company procedures and deviations from company procedures directly to Quality Flight Services Director and all levels of management reporting in support of the managed fleet.
9. Monitor and track internal and external safety reporting; mandatory and voluntary.
10. Ensure timely corrective actions to all non-conformities (internal and third party) in the departments within his/her area of responsibility.
11. Ensure a timely response to the aviation authorities for all corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings or other non-conformity reports.
12. Implement and manage the company’s risk assessment and change management process.
13. Coordinate with the relevant regulatory authorities regarding compliance issues including operational approvals.
14. Support the ongoing maintenance of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Program in accordance with ICAO Annex 6 and regulatory requirements.
15. Close co-operation with department heads to address compliance and quality issues and liaise with other safety professionals in the Jet Aviation Group as required.
16. Develop, monitor and exercise the Emergency Response Plan and assumes a leadership role in the exercise testing of the plan.
17. Consult with Regulatory Authorities, customer, and relevant Government bodies in relation to Aviation Quality and Compliance issues.
18. Ensures that all maintenance and safety related data is protected for record and archive.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in aviation related field with a focus on safety management and or extensive or equivalent operations or industry experience.
2. Minimum 6 years in aviation including an operational safety or significant compliance monitoring and reporting experience.
3. Working knowledge of Risk and Change Management.
4. Expert knowledge of Safety Management System application and reporting.
5. Experienced Auditor and Aviation Safety Investigator.
6. Experience in the application of Root Cause Analysis tools including HFACS.
7. Working Knowledge of WHSE requirements.
