The Position
The Analytical Research & Development department is part of Synthetic Molecules Technical Development and globally responsible for developing state-of-the-art analytical methods, analysing raw materials, intermediates, active, and a variety of dosage forms of synthetic molecule development products and preparing regulatory documents for submission to health authorities.
The Opportunity
As a Junior Analytical Scientist you are responsible for the following main tasks:
Development and improvement of analytical methods (HPLC, GC etc.)
Application of diverse methods for product release/stability or for chemical/pharmaceutical process development
Ensuring adequate documentation
Outcome-oriented collaboration with clients and lab technicians
Support of Senior Analytical scientists in project work and act as point of contact for project related information
Contribution in projects related to local or global initiatives, for example related to implementation of new technologies, digitalization or harmonization
Who You Are
MSc in organic/analytical/food chemistry or pharmaceutics. PhD is an advantage
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Practical experience in the development of liquid chromatographic methods
Oligonucleotide/Peptide analytical development know-how is a plus
Excellent communication skills; Ability to collaborate successfully
Basic understanding of statistics is a plus
Very good English language skills. German language is a plus
