Job Description
The Business Change Manager will work within a matrix management system with colleagues assigned to one or more projects, delivering project work in teams led by Project or Programme Managers.
This role is part of the Connect One ECOM global transformation project, bringing together technology and data to enhance business benefits for stakeholders through enhanced use of technology, analytics, reporting, and improved business processes.
The initial project focus is supporting the First Mile Project, focusing on change aspects such as communication, training, programme management, and reporting.
The First Mile projects are crucial for ECOM as an origin integrated trading company, emphasizing sustainability, traceability, and impact work. Recent EU regulations and stakeholder pressures emphasize data capture within the first mile of our supply chain.
Role and Responsibilities
The Business Change Manager delivers assigned projects to ensure that change initiatives' impact is understood by all stakeholders and those impacted are supported and prepared to adopt new ways of working.
Key duties include:
* Conducting assessments of current processes and identifying future needs
* Identifying changes needed to achieve desired outcomes
* Risk mitigation planning and identification of anticipated resistance to change
* Development and delivery of change management levers, including communications plans and training programs
* Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change processes
Requirements
3-5 years of change management experience delivering technology-related business changes, with proven understanding of processes involved
Experience working in multi-entity/global environments, particularly in developing countries with soft commodities
Proven expertise in using established change methodologies and frameworks
Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience in communications planning and delivery, with ability to articulate messages to diverse audiences
Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills, with ability to establish strong relationships and travel to origin countries
Experience with CTRM, Traceability (CSR), or ERP global deployments
