About the Company: Our customer is a Swiss based company specialized in the storage and supply of petroleum products. For its daily operations, they are looking for their future Project Manager.
About the Role: The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising all activities related to existing infrastructure renovation projects and related expansion projects to the growing needs of the airport. He or she focuses on managing resources, budgets, schedules, and coordinating stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with the Technical Manager, the Compliance Officer, and the Airport Site Works Managers to ensure smooth execution, compliant and aligned with the strategic requirements of the company and the airport.
Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed schedules for renovation and expansion projects, in collaboration with the Technical Manager to integrate the technical and operational aspects.
* Identify interdependencies between projects and anticipate obstacles to ensure meeting deadlines.
* Prioritize projects based on strategic business goals and requirements of the Airport.
* Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets in conjunction with the various departments.
* Optimize costs based on the Technical Manager's analyses and the Compliance Officer's recommendations.
* Produce accurate financial reports for management and propose solutions in the event of budget overruns.
* Serve as the main interface between internal teams (Technical Manager, Compliance Officer, Works Managers) and external teams (suppliers, subcontractors, airport authorities).
* Work closely with the Works Managers to plan and coordinate interventions on the airport site, minimizing disruptions to operations provisioning.
* Participate in meetings with airport stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with expansion needs.
* Monitor the progress of projects using KPIs and identify deviations from the schedule or budget.
* Prepare and present regular reports on the status of projects to management, including recommendations of the cooperating parties.
* Issue calls for tenders related to projects and negotiate contractual terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Supervise subcontractors' deliverables in collaboration with the Works Managers to ensure quality and respect for deadlines.
* Ensure that all projects comply with current regulations through close collaboration with the Compliance Officer.
* Coordinate with the Technical Engineer and the Compliance Officer for the preparation of documents required for inspections and certifications.
* Identify project risks, such as delays, compliance issues, or budget overruns.
* Work with the Compliance Officer and Works Managers to develop mitigation plans.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent
* Specialization or experience in infrastructure project management is an asset.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification.
* Knowledge of industry norms and standards (JIG, API) is a plus.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial environment or airport.
* Experience working with technical engineers and compliance officers is highly recommended.
* Fluent French & English mandatory in written and spoken.
* Living in Geneva area +- 20 km is essential.

* Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects in a multidisciplinary environment. Expertise in managing schedules, budgets, and coordination. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalents).
* Collaboration and communication: Excellent communication with internal (Technical Manager, Compliance Officer, Works Managers) and external stakeholders. Strong leadership to coordinate teams without direct supervision of technical aspects.
* Financial Management: Competence in budget monitoring and cost optimization. Ability to analyze financial gaps and propose solutions.
* Risk Analysis: Proactivity in identifying project risks and implementing plans of adapted mitigation.
Preferred Skills:
* Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with several functions (technical, compliance) while respecting the airport's operational constraints.
* Simultaneous management of several projects: Juggling renovation projects and expansion projects, requiring a rigorous organization and a strong ability to prioritize.
* Alignment with Airport Priorities: Anticipate and integrate regulatory changes into existing processes and infrastructure, without disrupting operations.
