Job Title: Chef
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team, providing excellent technical cooking ability and exceptional customer service delivery.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in an open-plan kitchen environment. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the resort team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver bespoke menus for guests, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and three-course meals; catering to dietary requirements and special requests.
* Collaborate with guest group leaders to provide personalized service and discuss menu options prior to arrival.
* Plan and execute versatile menus that cater to younger children within family groups.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all chalet kitchen and dining areas.
* Work in a variety of luxury chalet kitchens throughout the season, adapting to changing schedules and teams.
* Manage all aspects of the chalet kitchen, including budgeting and accurately recording expenditure.
* Participate in deep cleaning and turning around properties on changeover days, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
* Source local ingredients and produce, analyzing guest feedback to continually improve services.
* Exceed guest expectations, always presenting a positive image of Ski Armadillo while wearing uniform or chef whites.
* Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A valid EU passport.
* Luxury service experience of 2 years or more, preferably in a luxury ski chalet, Michelin restaurant, or super yacht setting.
* Knowledge of ski resorts and seasonal life.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Availability for the full winter season (November to April).
