Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Director EPM will lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain functions, enhancing performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and driving operational efficiency.
This role is a member of the EPM Technical Operations Management Team at Medison and plays a key function in determining policies and strategies for the short and long term.
1. Drive Supply Chain Initiatives: Improve performance, efficiency, and alignment with company goals. Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Develop Strategic Supply Chain Plans: Support the organization's growth and ensure alignment with Division goals.
3. Represent SC in Business Cases: Lead implementation of new businesses from a Supply Chain perspective to ensure successful product launches and/or business continuity.
4. Manage Supply Chain Budget: Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or service levels.
5. Support Sales & Operations Planning Meetings: Consolidate data and ensure stakeholder alignment.
6. Oversee Relationships with Key Partners: Maintain quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
7. Ensure Timely Purchasing: Conduct regular performance reviews of distributors and logistics service providers and drive improvements to meet requirements.
8. Oversee Customer Service Functions: Set goals and manage order processing, delivery, and invoicing.
9. Serve as Primary Escalation Point: Collaborate with affiliates and regional teams to address challenges swiftly and maintain operational continuity.
10. Lead Distribution Processes: Select and oversee 3PL providers and local distributors to ensure optimization of costs, on-time delivery, business continuity, and service consistency.
11. Collaborate with Logistics Providers and Internal Teams: Ensure smooth and timely delivery operations, proactively addressing and resolving any distribution issues as they arise.
12. Oversee Demand Planning: Ensure forecasts accurately reflect customer needs, optimizing inventory levels to balance service, quality, and cost efficiency.
13. Optimize ERP Processes: Enhance efficiency in order-to-cash and inventory management, ensuring seamless operations and data accuracy across the supply chain.
14. Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs/Pharmacovigilance (RA/PV), Finance, IT, and Commercial Affiliates: Streamline operations, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
15. Establish and Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Analyze KPI trends to proactively address issues, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
