We are currently working with a leading medical device firm looking for an Automation Specialist to join their team in Switzerland. You will be part of a reputable organisation helping to improve patients' lives.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing in-depth knowledge in production support.
* Evaluating and implementing new production technologies as well as optimizing existing production processes.
* Defining, specifying, and validating manufacturing and testing processes.
* Planning and executing process expansions through automation/partial automation.
* Supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of existing automation solutions.
* Analyzing, optimizing, and documenting production workflows.
* Identifying cost and quality optimization opportunities.
* Organizing and coordinating cross-departmental activities.
* Maintaining machinery.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
* Completed training/apprenticeship as an automation technician or a comparable technical education.
* Experience with highly automated systems.
* Autonomous working style and strong communication skills.
* Fluency in German.
* Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
