Purpose of Position
* The Bartender supports the Beverage Manager to ensure efficient operations of all bar lounges, bars, restaurants, special events, and Guest areas where beverage service activities take place.
* Your responsibility is to create a friendly, guest-oriented service culture to ensure Guest satisfaction and repeat business, increasing revenue and profitability of the company.
Your Responsibilities
1. Assist in setting up and executing F&B related ship functions and special events.
2. Tally all sales transactions and correctly follow accounting procedures, tallying bar revenue accurately.
3. Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Bar Menus to deliver exceptional STAR Service at all times.
4. Prepare and serve drinks according to company standards, ensuring correct recipes are followed.
5. Ensure cost control and adhere to set budgets; conduct stock takes and inventory according to company procedures; store stock correctly and establish par levels.
6. Ensure assigned areas are set up according to direction from relevant Supervisors and Viking's Operations Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
7. Follow service procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures, Departmental Service Standards, and applicable Public Health Policies.
8. Prepare and operate F&B activities in all outlets, including but not limited to beverage outlets, ensuring all F&B activities are prepared and executed according to company standards.
9. Minimize equipment loss/damage and maintain immaculate cleanliness standards in relevant areas by applying safe working policies and procedures according to Public Health Policies and sanitizing equipment after each use.
10. Prepare mise-en-place for all areas of responsibility 15 minutes prior to service.
11. Participate in embarkation duty as directed, including luggage assistance, escorting Guests, and other related duties, loading as required by Supervisors.
