WizeHire is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help us expand our outbound prospecting and increase our footprint beyond our current customer base. This is an individual contributor role responsible for executing outbound activities to generate a new pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for our Account Executives. This position is remote for applicants based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
1. Develop curiosity and excitement around Wizehire.
2. Lead top of the funnel activities including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach to develop a qualified lead funnel that converts to quality pipeline for our Account Executives.
3. Maximize outbound prospecting efforts to meet and exceed quotas for calls and qualified meetings.
4. Be thorough and detail-oriented when setting up meetings for our AEs to ensure they hold.
5. Collaborate with the Manager of Sales Development, Marketing, Operations, etc. to ensure outreach is timely and relevant based on upcoming events, product launches, messaging, etc.
6. Leverage creativity to identify new prospects and enrich current accounts.
7. Ensure that prospects have been properly qualified and that proper expectations have been communicated.
8. Attend trade shows and industry events with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of our prospects and generating pipeline opportunities through live networking.
9. Track all activity thoroughly in Salesforce to support operations and management teams, validate activity and lead qualification reports, and provide sales team members with solid prospect background.
Qualifications
You’re a great fit for this role if:
1. You have experience in a customer-facing role (retail, CS, hospitality, service industry, etc.).
2. You have a positive attitude, are highly motivated, and passionate about getting into or continuing to grow your career in tech sales.
3. You have the ability to multitask and the idea of managing different outbound and inbound strategies excites you.
4. You have familiarity with Salesforce/Outreach/LinkedIn (not necessary, but a plus!).
5. You have strong time management skills.
6. You are detail-oriented and take great notes.
7. You have strong spoken and written communication skills.
8. You are willing to travel ~10% of the time.
9. You are looking for a role on a collaborative and growing team.
Compensation
$77,000 OTE
