Operating in a global, cross-functional, and multicultural environment, you will work with multiple stakeholders to enhance financial transparency, streamline processes, ensure high data accuracy and quality, and optimize financial controls across digital business operations. You will also oversee product development and R&D cost controlling, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment. The location for this role is flexible, with a slight preference for a European location.

Financial Performance & Analysis: In this role, you will take the lead in analyzing the financial performance of our Digital Business by comparing budgeted versus actual outcomes, identifying key trends and financial drivers. You will benchmark performance through key indicators against both internal and external standards, and explore the potential impact of various business conditions through sensitivity analysis and “what-if” scenarios. Additionally, you will be responsible for forecasting digital sales volumes and profitability, ensuring accurate and forward-looking financial planning.

3. Process Optimization & Data Quality: You will drive the optimization of financial systems and processes across global operations, with an emphasis on enhancing efficiency, consistency, and automation. A critical part of your role will be maintaining high standards of data accuracy in financial reporting and analytics, while working to unify financial controls and best practices across local business controllers, fostering global consistency.
4. Product Development & R&D Cost Control: You will closely monitor and analyze the profitability of products and customers, ensuring financial alignment with overall business strategies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cost-benefit analyses to evaluate R&D investments and maintaining robust cost control measures throughout product development cycles, promoting financially sustainable innovation.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Success in this role hinges on your ability to collaborate effectively across teams - particularly with sales and operations - to support and enhance performance management initiatives. You will serve as a financial liaison across the organization, aligning stakeholders on best practices and strategic goals. Delivering clear, data-driven financial reports and insights to management will be a key function, helping to drive transparency and informed decision-making at all levels.
