As a Customer Support Specialist, you will assist customers and collaborative partners in using MaxWell Biosystems’ products effectively, troubleshooting, and ensuring timely resolution of technical inquiries. You will ensure support operations are running smoothly. You will support in the installation and training of new users. You will develop expertise in the areas of MaxWell Biosystems’ software, hardware, and microelectrode array applications to deliver effective solutions. Field Application Scientist – North America Focus (100%)

As a Field Application Scientist, you will be our expert in the various applications of our products and will be a key representative of MaxWell Biosystems to our current and prospective customers. You will be involved in sales and support activities, offering the best solutions to the needs of our users. You will prepare presentations of our products, perform demos in front of clients using their biological samples, and increase product sales by convincing customers to buy our products. You will be part of the team in Zurich, with a focus on the North American market. Your scientific expertise is valued by our users and is essential for the success of MaxWell Biosystems.
Your Responsibilities
* Identify, approach, and communicate with potential customers; perform product presentations and demos
* Identify, advance, and close business opportunities

Scientific Communications Specialist (100%)

Communicating about the scientific applications and technological advancements of our innovative electrophysiology platforms is crucial as we establish close contact with our user-base, collaborators, and potential customers worldwide. Be it in the pharmaceutical industry, contract research organizations, or academia, all our existing and prospective customers have a scientific background (neuroscience, stem cell biology, bioengineering, pharmacology, etc.). As a Scientific Communications Specialist, your role will be to promote MaxWell Biosystems through the creation of understandable and compelling "stories" across all published materials. Not only does this include written content, but also audio-visual information, such as images, slides, videos, podcasts, etc.
Your Responsibilities
* Write compelling, understandable, and accurate messages, and generate materials to engage both internal stakeholders and our global audience, working in close collaboration with Sales, Scientific, and Product Management Teams
* Handle content ideation, creation, dissemination, and regular updates of all publications across media channels (brochures, application notes, technical documents, presentations, social media content, blog posts, news articles, website, etc.) according to the Marketing and Communication Plan
* Proofread all external communications and publications generated by the Marketing Team
* Support in writing and publishing our internal and collaborative research in conferences, journals, and other channels

At MaxWell Biosystems, we develop advanced instrumentation for neuroscience and life sciences applications. Our instruments consist of custom-designed CMOS-based sensor devices, a data acquisition system with FPGAs, and our software suite MaxLab Live.
