Job Overview
As a key member of the CEO Office, the Strategy Manager will drive the Cost Excellence initiative as part of the Corporate Strategy for 2030. In this role, the incumbent will manage the project portfolio focusing on continuous improvements in both COGS and functional costs across divisions and functions. A core part of the role will focus on improving process efficiencies. The role will be a sparring partner to members of the executive team (MMT) and the global department heads.
Main Responsibilities
* Drive process improvement initiatives within and across functions, along with optimizing the organizational design.
* Drive the Cost Excellence strategy initiative, including prioritization of projects, reporting of savings, and timelines.
* Support the Executive Team (MMT) and department heads in achieving mid-term cost targets.
* Manage cross-functional project teams in the execution of strategic projects.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate strategy or management consulting.
* Proven track record in executing process improvements and defining Target Operating Models, including organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
* Strong ability to analyze financial data, model cost-saving initiatives, and manage change effectively.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, or any other related field; Master’s degree or further education are considered a plus.
* Fluency in English is a must; German or any other language is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to build compelling narratives and deliver engaging presentations while fostering relationships across all levels.
* Ability to assess complex problems quickly, structure them logically, and drive solutions with an analytical mindset.
* Strong execution skills, with a 'getting things done' mentality and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Industry experience within MedTech, contract manufacturing and/or engineering environment is considered a plus.
* Experience in process mining including supporting tools is considered a plus.
