The Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator.

About the Role
This position will be based in the H55 headquarters in Sion, Switzerland.
You will report to the Head of Aircraft Integration & Testing.
Your primary focus will be on developing test activities and strategies to enable successful product demonstration (V&V) of the Battery module.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaison with product and system development teams to capture test needs
* Definition of appropriate test set-ups to provide test data in support of prototype development, qualification, verification and demonstration of Safety of Flight Test
* Creation of documentation, including technical descriptions, test procedures and reports
* Executing complex tests involving electrical, mechanical, software, control and instrumentation elements, while maintaining safety as a priority
* Coordination of test activities with both H55 in-house test teams and external suppliers
* Management of external suppliers
* Configuration management of test assets to ensure traceability of test activities
* Assist test and development teams with trouble-shooting, debugging and lessons learnt activities
* Track and log activities as required
* Provide timely formal and informal status as required by project management
Your Profile
You should have a university degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as System engineering, Aerospace engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems.
Ideal candidates will enjoy a role with a variety of aspects, including planning and coordinating, electrical/mechanical design, technical documentation, test bench assembly and commissioning or testing.
Experience in the Aerospace industry or other highly regulated domains, such as Automotive, is also desirable.
You should have good awareness of the safety challenges associated with batteries and high voltage testing.
Knowledge in the use and set up of Labview based systems is a strong asset.
Fluency in English (oral and written), French is an asset.
