Regional Market Access Director Pharma Mid Europe Region

As Regional Market Access Director Pharma Mid-Europe Region, you will collaborate with countries, Global Market Access, and the cross-functional team to enable and empower fast and broad patient access to our company products across the General Pharmaceutical franchises in this region. You will be accountable for the successful execution of the access strategy consistent with the global plan for access, the value & implementation goals, and market-level opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Execute short- and long-term access strategies and plans, in coordination with country, global, and cross-functional teams.
* Work directly with the allocated countries and support them in addressing value, access, and affordability priorities and challenges.
* Leverage all available resources (e.g., clinical, regulatory, medical, marketing, OR, policy, global access, and pricing) to support countries in the implementation of tactical plans, identifying and overcoming access barriers.
* Work closely with global and therapeutic area pricing teams to proactively address price management, including price optimization.
* Liaise and collaborate with OR, GMSA, and V&I teams to ensure appropriate data generation to close local and regional real-world data/evidence gaps for optimized access.
* Share best practices across countries and provide market input into our global product access plans.
* Collect and nurture market information, run detailed analysis of access & pricing assumptions in financial forecast cycles, and inform senior management to plan for timely access whilst maintaining value.
* As a key member of the regional cross-functional team, contribute to integrated strategy and product plans.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the payer landscape, policy objectives, health priorities, and planned initiatives of governments throughout the region.
* As a motivated self-starter with strong leadership capabilities, develop talent and maintain a strong network to shape decisions.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
* BA/BS, master’s degree in business administration, health policy, or health economics (or equivalent) preferred.
* 5 years or more experience in market access, health economics, outcomes research, or pricing in the pharmaceutical industry.
* In-country experience, including product launches.
* Proven track record of success in executing access strategies.
* Evidence of strategic and analytical thought, strong business, and financial acumen.
* Demonstrate ability to prioritize and make resource trade-offs across the portfolio.
* Proven ability to establish influential relationships with key stakeholders.
* Lead with informal authority and navigate successfully in a matrixed environment.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
