QC ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST

On behalf of our Pharmaceutical company in Neuchatel, we are looking for a QC Associate Scientist for a 12-month contract opportunity.
START DATE: January 6th
DURATION: 12 months
Location: Neuchatel
Duties
1. The job holder is accountable for life cycle management activities of analytical assays performed in the QC Laboratories of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with a focus on:
1. Laboratory Investigations
2. Critical Material Qualification
3. Laboratory Method Transfers
2. In addition, the job holder also supports daily QC activities following cGMP, policies, and EHS requirements.
Validation and Qualification Activities
1. Author transfer protocols and reports for assays
2. Author qualification plans and reports for critical reagents
3. Oversee validation and qualification activities executed by analysts, provide training and support
4. Execute and document experiments
Investigation Leads
1. Investigate and troubleshoot problems which occur to determine solutions or recommendations for improvements or change
2. Conduct/participate in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and investigations
3. Own Laboratory Investigations and CAPA
Quality Control Support Activities
1. Support the application of industry-specific compliance standards/regulations to assays life cycle management activities
2. Participate in daily activities upon request (provide technical and statistical support)
Experience
1. University or engineering degree in analytical chemistry, biotechnology, biochemistry, or microbiology
2. 1 or 2 years of experience in GMP pharma business activities, preferably in the scope of recombinant therapeutic products in a pharmaceutical environment
3. Experience in GMP Laboratory activities
4. Good knowledge of method transfer
5. Good knowledge of critical reagent qualification
6. Experience in problem solving and deviation management
7. Good knowledge of statistical tools
8. Fluent in French and English (C1 written and spoken)
9. Proficiency in all aspects of standard IT tools
