* Define and implement the regional strategy for the Rail Vertical Market, aligning with local organizations and corporate teams to strengthen Sika's market position.
* Identify and capitalize on high-potential market opportunities in focus regions, particularly the UAE, Morocco, and Egypt.
* Develop and execute action plans to increase sales and market penetration while mentoring local teams on best practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and accounts across the region, ensuring alignment with Sika's strategic goals.
* Collaborate with R&D to align market feedback with product innovation needs.
* Utilize data-driven analysis to identify market trends and inform actionable strategies.
* Represent Sika at industry events, fostering visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.
* Prepare and oversee training programs tailored to EMEA requirements to enhance regional expertise.
* Ensure thorough project follow-through from conception to execution, prioritizing quality and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
* Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field with over 9 years of experience in project management, sales, marketing, and business development, with demonstrated success in driving growth strategies and managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Comprehensive understanding of the construction process, including design, specification, and execution, with a focus on rail and infrastructure markets.
* Expertise in construction chemicals and complementary systems, with a proven ability to transition from product-focused to holistic market-centric approaches. Entrepreneurial approach to business development, driven by data analysis and market intelligence.
* Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and deliver results under challenging circumstances.
* Proficient in English, French, and Arabic; additional languages such as German or Spanish are a plus.
* Proven ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.

This role integrates regular travel across the region (approximately 50% of working time).
