Global Product Marketing Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Global Product Marketing Manager to lead the development and management of our maternity care and NICU product portfolio.
This role requires a deep understanding of the hospital business, as well as strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy and Management
o Manage the assigned global product portfolio, overseeing product strategy, development, and lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life
o Define and align product strategy and roadmap with company goals and market needs, collaborating closely with category PMs, regions, and cross-functional teams
2. Customer Insights and Market Research
o Engage with healthcare providers, patients, and stakeholders to understand needs and workflows, translating insights into product features and continuous improvements
o Conduct market research to identify trends and customer pain points, converting insights into business opportunities
3. Go-to-Market Strategies and Collaboration
o Develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning in collaboration with regional teams
o Work closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical teams, Quality, Regulatory, and Regional teams to ensure product alignment with clinical practices, regulatory standards, and Medela's global ambitions
Requirements
1. University degree in a business-related field
2. At least 5 years of experience in product management within the medical device industry is a must
3. Strong understanding of hospital needs, clinical workflows, and patient care
4. Proven track record of leading global product launches from concept to execution
5. Strong business acumen and analytical skills
6. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business goals
7. High affinity for clinical applications of technology
8. Project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage
9. Fluent in English, with German language skills preferred
