We are seeking a motivated and committed Technical Presales Specialist to join our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team at Hitachi Energy.
The ideal candidate will identify and capture new market opportunities in the segment of distribution automation, collaborating with local sales units.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
* Possess specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line.
* Deliver in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives.
* Possess some capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and develop prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions.
* Customer support to address clients' issues in the usage of products and services.
* Perform customer interactions like demos, proof of concepts, and presentations.
* Prepare to travel 20 to 40 days per year within Hub Europe area for customer visits and demos.
Your Background
* A degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent would be an advantage.
* You have an active, energetic, and open approach.
* You have B2B pre-sales or technical project experience within Distribution Utilities and perhaps some experience with customer activities.
* Good communication and presentation skills and ability to learn.
* Ideally, you have a background with Protection & Control applications for Electric Distribution Utilities, or from the industry.
* Proficiency in both spoken and written English, any other language is an advantage.
* International business background is seen as a benefit.
