Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive medical sales professional with ambition and high energy to join our Diabetes Team as a Territory Specialist. This role is responsible for the promotion of our life-changing technology to Health Care Professionals in West/South West Sydney with a regional country responsibility. Our main head office is in Macquarie Park (Sydney), however, your Diabetes team members are based at our Doncaster office.
Your Responsibilities Include:
1. Maintaining a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform), competitor products, disease states, and industry compliance.
2. Demonstrating proficiency in tools of the trade, processes, and policies.
3. Developing sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluating and tracking the implementation of these on an ongoing basis.
4. Planning, executing, and analyzing sales calls to create call continuity with customers.
5. Promoting value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and creating solutions to meet customer needs.
6. Diagnosing and tracking key customer and competitor performance regularly.
7. Collaborating with the broader (COMPANY NAME) team to identify new opportunities.
Who We're Looking For:
1. Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential.
2. Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices; however, strong customer-facing experience as a pharmacist will be highly regarded.
3. Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous.
4. Business acumen and analytical skills.
5. Customer-centric mindset, important listening, genuine empathy, and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer-focused service to internal and external customers.
6. Concise and clear communication with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information.
7. Initiative and proactivity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo while identifying new business opportunities.
