We are currently accepting applications for the position of Group Designer. The group designer has the following roles:
Vertical: reports to Group Marketing Operations Director
Horizontal: Works in collaboration with local marketing creatives & designers.
External: Represent company liaising with external support providers (development agency, brand agencies, SEO agency, content agency, audio visual production agency).
Main objectives:
* As a mid-level designer, primary objective is to conceptualise and execute compelling design solutions that enhance MCI Agency and mci group marketing campaigns, sales and corporate communications.
* Play a pivotal role in translating clients’ needs into visual narratives that resonate with our key target audiences, driving engagement and brand loyalty.
* Your creativity and design expertise will contribute to our company`s reputation for delivering exceptional event experiences and marketing communication activations.
The main responsibilities and requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute design concepts for a variety of marketing and communication campaigns across all touchpoints (website, digital and print brochures, event collateral, social media, sales presentations, video storyboarding, email marketing, merchandise, posters, stationery).
* Collaborate with internal local and external creative teams to produce visual materials that align with MCI Agency and mci group brand standards.
* Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
* Utilize graphic design software to create high-quality visuals for digital and print platforms.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts and branding identity.
* Provide support to senior design teams and assist in guiding junior designers.
* Monitor and track latest design trends and share insights with global and local marketing teams.
* Participate in global and local marketing team meetings; lead or participate in ad hoc teams; represent the HQ Marcom needs via participation in regular global calls.
Job requirements:
* Ability to create visually appealing designs that communicate the desired message effectively.
* Ability to work with video editors and create appealing videos for social media and websites is a must.
* Strong understanding of branding, layout, colour theory and typography.
* Experience designing for a variety of formats, including print, digital and social media.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
* Creative thinking with the ability to solve problems and overcome challenges.
* Willingness to stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and changing client needs.
Specific Technical Skills:
* High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Ai based creation tools.
* Familiarity with web design principles and responsive design.
* Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
* Anticipated travel at 5-10%.
* mci group is a global company, with some regular calls occurring outside of standard European business hours.
* At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design with a focus on marketing and events.
* Proven track record of successful design projects, as evidenced by a strong portfolio.
