This is an exciting opportunity to develop complex electronics for battery-powered surveying instruments.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated circuit designs using ECAD and simulation tools, as well as developing embedded sensor software in C/C++ for peripheral MCUs or application processors.
As a project manager, you will coordinate and represent the expert group in the core team, enable interdisciplinary development of solutions, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Develop complex electronics for battery-powered surveying instruments from requirements engineering to series production.
* Create sophisticated circuit designs using ECAD and simulation tools.
* Design and implement embedded sensor software in C/C++ for peripheral MCUs or application processors (Power Management, HMI, IMU, camera modules, etc.).
* Take over responsibility as project manager: Coordinate and represent the expert group in the core team, enable interdisciplinary development of solutions, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
* Specify equipment (e.g. batteries, chargers, cables, etc.) for external development partners.
* Help shape the technology roadmap as part of a gatekeeper or expert group and carry out technology projects based on your specialization.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical engineering or similar and Master's degree if applicable.
* At least 10 years of work experience in electronic design development with embedded software development.
* Knowledge of SI/PI simulation and thermal management is an advantage.
* Experience in innovation projects as Project Manager with broad system understanding.
* Familiarity with collaboration with external development partners.
* Networked and highly entrepreneurial mindset.
* Positive mindset with very independent way of working.
* Proficiency in English and German spoken and written.
