PhD Candidate in Inorganic Chemistry
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our group at the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry, focusing on the design and synthesis of in vivo imaging probes. Our team has diverse expertise in organic synthesis, imaging, and nanotechnology, allowing for flexibility to explore topics in depth.
Research Topics:
* MRI and NIR probes for in vivo and in vitro disease imaging
* Chemical force spectroscopy and nanolithography using chemically functionalized AFM tips
* Fullerene-based biomaterials
* Supramolecular complexation and self-assembly
Job Responsibilities:
* Organic synthesis and chemical characterization
* Variety of imaging applications
* Collaboration with our group and other researchers
* Teaching opportunities in practical labs or lecture courses as needed
Requirements:
* A Master's degree in chemistry or a related field
* Ability to work independently on projects while collaborating with others
* Background in organic synthesis and high proficiency in oral and written English
