Senior Manager Product Ownership
The Senior Manager Product Ownership role is responsible for a defined set of digital (sub)products, specifically S&OP and S&OE capabilities in the SCM Digital Supply Chain Products team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be accountable for product success, considering value for the consumer and company (ROI).
* Specify product vision and roadmap, as well as user stories, considering value for user community and company.
* Be accountable for product delivery in line with roadmap and committed delivery dates.
* Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery. Coordinate interfaces between different product teams.
* Monitor, optimize, and enhance configuration, features, and functionalities related to the product.
Stakeholder Management:
* Represent business for sub-product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their views and requirements are captured in product backlog.
* Promote team priorities and exercise influence with stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for optimization or improvement, prioritize according to business impacts, and support team to drive change.
* Develop functional relationships with internal and 3rd party partners, govern meeting of KPIs.
* Implement industry standards and best practices, evolve partnerships as needed.
* Partner with internal counterparts in assessment of new vendors/partners.
Backlog Management:
* Prioritize items in product backlog, specify definition-of-done in cooperation with product team(s).
* Own refinement of product backlog to ensure product team(s) delivers right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.
* Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by team, in line with definition-of-done.
People Management:
* Create supportive work environment where employees are coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities through development.
* Monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency with data and team feedback, make appropriate changes to meet business needs.
* Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
Domain Expertise:
* Serve as subject matter expert on Supply Chain Planning S&OP and S&OE functionality, offering guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strong analytical skills.
* Expert level domain knowledge (purchasing/procurement).
* Proven experience as product owner in ERP.
* Basic leadership skills.
* Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies.
* Advanced understanding of IT products and capabilities.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills when interacting with different levels of business.
* Proactive mindset, ability to think end-to-end.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment with different international cultures.
* Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required.
* Fluent English (verbal and written).
* Excellent presentation skills.
Requisite Education and Qualifications:
* University degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 8+ years of experience working in Supply Chain/IT, preferably consumer product.
* 3+ years of experience as Process/Product Owner in S&OP and S&OE area.
* Operational experience in supply chain (with focus on role in S&OP) preferred.
* Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels.
