Job Description

Main Responsibilities
1. Pilot Non-Conformance (NC) processes, lead, execute, and delegate tasks according to QMS processes, monitoring Performance Indicators (PI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with a balanced Quality-Delivery-Cost perspective.
2. Analyze, organize, and lead Quality Circles with technical expertise on products and manufacturing processes.
3. Resolve NC treatments via 8D, 5-Why, and 6M methodologies across all ESS-sites, involving departments like Production-Engineering, Production, Development, Industrialization, Purchasing, and others.
4. Foster solutions with a cost-risk-benefit balanced mindset.
5. Coordinate and hand-over NC-supplier to QA-Supplier teams and other related departments.
6. Prioritize NC and related Actions to satisfy clients, especially in securing deliveries.
7. Implement and request implementation of NC actions with corresponding evidence.
8. Escalate issues due to complexity or blocking points in resolution.
9. Follow-up NC treatment, assisting Customer Support, and drive down to closure of NC.
10. Present NC resolutions during NC closing sessions.
11. Support Development and Engineering Change (ECR) projects to anticipate issues.
12. Participate in Phase Reviews (DEV, Client Realization).
13. Lead continual improvement projects (CIP).
14. Contribute to the overall effort in Quality and Health & Safety.
15. Travel less than 20%, mostly in Europe for cross-sites activities.
Qualifications
* Masters degree (MS) in Mechanics, Microtechnics, Electrotechnics, Material Science, Physics, or equivalent.
* Deep knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments is essential.
* Certified internal auditor is an asset.
* 15+ years of experience in R&D, Quality, or/and Production Engineering.
* Experience in Clients/Certification/Supplier audits is an advantage.
* Fluent in English and French, German is a plus.
* Experience in complex problem-solving.
* Background in highly regulated industries is beneficial.
* Hands-on problem-solving attitude with a cross-departmental approach.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Team spirit, autonomous, with a continual improvement/Learn mindset.
