As a Chef de Partie at The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Belmond Train, you will be part of a team that brings culinary visions to life through unique and hand-crafted gastronomic experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking menus that meet the train's luxurious standards.
* Supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in all assigned tasks with a positive attitude.
* Maintaining safety, health, and hygiene standards in the kitchen for a safe working environment.
* Ensuring the workstation, kitchen, and storage areas are clean and hygienic.
Requirements
* Culinary expertise with a minimum of 2 years in fine dining establishments and overall 5 years work experience.
* Ability to adapt to dynamic working conditions aboard a luxury train and handle unexpected challenges.
* A keen eye for detail in food quality, presentation, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
* A commitment to creating exceptional culinary experiences aligning with the prestigious reputation of the Belmond brand.
* Travel extensively across Europe.
* Hold a European or Swiss passport.
* Fluency in English with basic comprehension of Italian and French.
