Who you’ll become
The Sales Academy Associate (f/m/d) primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and net new customers. You will empower our customers to achieve their full potential by understanding their strategy, unique business goals, and desired outcomes.
As a Sales Academy Associate (f/m/d) within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible for:
Successfully completing a 10-month learn-apply program that includes classroom phases and field phases with your sales team.
Immersing yourself in experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
Learning how to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and ongoing renewals.
Receiving onboarding in your local market with on-the-job training and mentoring by Senior Account Executive.
The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP and the Customer Success board area, giving you professional experience. Upon successful completion, you will move into a direct customer-facing sales role and continue to receive mentoring and coaching support.
What you’ll bring
2-3 years’ work experience in a quota-carrying sales environment in a technology company or significant exposure to business processes.
Strong communication skills including fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
Proficient interpersonal skills including passion, curiosity, effective listening, professional presence, empathy, and a “can-get-it-done” mentality.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
Strong Business Acumen including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
About SAP Academy for Customer Success
The SAP Academy for Customer Success is a world-class training program that develops our next generation workforce by delivering an energizing and inspiring experience. This dynamic 10-month program strengthens the foundation for a successful career at SAP. The official program start is March 1st, 2025 .

We are planning a practical and immersive portion of our program, which will have participants spend between 4 and 6 weeks in San Ramon, California. This experience is designed to provide unparalleled hands-on learning and networking opportunities.
During these intensive phases of the program, it is critical that all participants are fully engaged to ensure maximum learning and success. As such, vacation should not be planned from March 1, 2025, to May 30, 2025, and from August 11, 2025, to October 17, 2025.
