MSF, including MSF Operational Center Geneva (OCG), has grown significantly over the last 10 years and until now the HR department has managed that expansion with ad-hoc tools and methods. To better support the ongoing demands and better serve our global workforce, OCG has launched a transformative HR initiative with one critical pillar being the introduction of an HR Information System (HRIS). Joining a dynamic team of HR professionals, the HRIS Integration Engineer will develop the system integrations between HR Applications, in particular from and to Workday, our new HR solution. In a Microsoft technical environment (Azure, Fabrics, Master Data Services), they will engineer system integrations based on the recommended architecture, solution design and technical specifications. The incumbent will collaborate with our IT Solution Architect, IT Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Testing team and our Workday consultants to produce robust solutions that enable data sharing between HRIS component, Integration Layer and peripheral systems. Tasks & Responsibilities As the HRIS Integration Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in revolutionizing our human resources information systems, contributing to better humanitarian aid in countries where we work. You'll be at the forefront of deploying a cutting-edge HR solution (Workday) packed with both current and historical HR data, along with seamless inbound and outbound integrations. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of experts to dive into business requirements, ensuring that every integration (services and workflows) fits perfectly into our existing HR technology ecosystem. Your mission is to deliver technology solutions that not only align with our enterprise strategies but also adhere to top-notch reference architectures by applying sound principles and best practices. Main responsibilities of HRIS Integration Engineer are the following: - Team Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams to grasp integration needs and priorities, ensuring everyone is on the same page. - Innovative Development: Craft and rigorously test data integrations to guarantee they are consistent, accurate, and timely, while also keeping deployment pipelines in top shape. - Platform Mastery: Take charge of supporting and maintaining the HRIS Cloud-native Integration platform, ensuring it runs smoothly in both test and production environments. - Clear Communication: Document processes for seamless handovers and keep everyone updated on progress, risks, and blockers, ensuring smooth project flow. - Quality and Teamwork: Dive into testing activities, address data quality issues, and collaborate closely with IT Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Teams, and Workday consultants to refine and review designs. Your profile - Do you want to be part of a multi-cultural team for a great cause? - Do you have 5-10+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer with a proven track record in system integration and analysis? - Are you experienced with Microsoft Cloud-native Integration and Data platforms (e.g. Azure, Azure Data Factory, API Management)? - Do you have proficiency in data warehousing, ETL processes, event-driven integration, and APIs, along with experience in designing and developing integration interfaces with REST and SOAP services? - Have you contributed to system integrations involving HR data with Active Directory, payroll, and other consumers of HR data as part of a transformation program? - Do you possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams on strategic projects? Terms of employment - Full-time position 100% (40h/week) - Fixed-term contract, 14 months. - Working place: Geneva, Switzerland - Ideal start date: May 2025 - Gross monthly salary (for 100%): from CHF 7'870.- to CHF 9'029.- (paid in 12 instalments; salary commensurate with equivalent experience and internal salary grid). - Paid vacation: 25 days per year, prorate temporis, plus any Swiss public holidays falling within the contract period. - Pension plan: pension contribution covered 3/4 by MSF, 1/4 by staff member. - Relocation package if moving from a different country to Switzerland.
