Resort Manager
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and positive person with a growth mindset and a passion for customer service. They will work closely with the Overseas Director, developing and applying skills across multiple areas of our small, face-paced, growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management: Oversee a seasonal team, consisting of Resort Administrator, Drivers, Chefs, Hosts, Housekeepers, and weekly contractors.
2. Health & Safety: Maintain a log of all accidents, incidents, and claims, and ensure staff welfare.
3. Team Development: Write and deliver training sessions, coach/mentor the team through weekly chalet visits, and collect team feedback through monthly 121s and exit interviews.
4. Guest Care & Product Management: Deliver best-in-class guest experience, collecting and analysing customer feedback, and resolving guests' issues before they leave the resort.
5. Financial & Revenue Management: Manage resort budgets, concierge sales, Ski Armadillo property, and money, accurately reporting cash spend.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who strives to install the highest standards of excellence in the delivery of luxury catered alpine holidays. The role suits a dynamic, positive person with a growth mindset and a passion for customer service.
Skill Set Required:
1. Previous luxury ski resort management experience of 2 years or more.
2. Strong communication skills, written/verbal, and ability to interact with employees at all levels, including upper management.
3. Fluent English written and spoken language.
4. Excellent IT skills, especially excel.
5. University Business Degree.
