Senior Leadership Position: Drive Growth in Ticino
This senior position involves leading a team and spearheading our mission to drive growth in Ticino. Key responsibilities include overall strategic development, coordination of daily sales and marketing activities, management and development of staff, and oversight of profit and loss.
The successful candidate will lead an entrepreneurial and international business, directly influencing its development and growth in the education/study abroad market in Ticino. This highly visible role requires assuming the position of the face of a well-known brand.
Responsibilities
* Develop, execute, and support your team to meet short- and long-term sales goals in the Swiss Italian market.
* Understand and surpass previous year's sales accomplishments.
* Stay knowledgeable about current sales trends in your markets and think 5 steps ahead.
* Oversight of day-to-day sales activities coordination.
* Analyze your teams, sales situation, the current market, and competitors.
* Contribute to developing dedicated product strategies and implementing tactics.
* Support the development of the product under your responsibility.
Operations
* Control and monitor budgets while ensuring effective expense planning and cost controls.
* Built new relationships and maintain existing ones with schools and universities.
* Manage time for local administrative tasks such as invoicing, visa preparation, marketing material distribution, etc.
* Assist in creating marketing materials and their production.
Staff Management
* Motivate sales teams by establishing individual and team goals.
* Responsible for performance management of sales coordinators, including performance reviews and development plans.
* Identify staffing needs and execute successful recruitment campaigns.
Requirements
* Degree from a reputable University in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* 5+ years work experience.
* A highly energetic and ambitious self-starter.
* Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership.
* Tested leadership ability.
* Strong business acumen and commercial instincts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fully fluent in Italian and professional in written and verbal English.
Desired Skills and Experience
* A graduate degree qualification or equivalent, preferably in sales, marketing, business, administration, or a related discipline.
* 1-2 years of team leadership experience.
* Experience living abroad.
* Master of Business Administration, strongly preferred.
* Experience in a service-oriented industry.
