You’ll be key to Outlier Lab’s growth by identifying and qualifying leads through strategic outreach and collaboration with our sales and marketing teams.
Outlier Lab is a bootstrapped startup committed to an entrepreneurial approach to market expansion. This is an independent, commission-based role; we do not offer employment contracts.
Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn. Follow up on inbound leads to uncover new business opportunities.
Conduct initial conversations with leads to assess their needs, challenges, and fit for Outlier Lab’s solutions. Qualify leads to ensure they align with the ideal customer profile.
Use cold calling, personalized emails, and social selling to reach decision-makers and initiate conversations about how Outlier Lab’s solutions can address their pain points.
Schedule product demos and sales meetings with qualified leads, coordinating closely with account executives to ensure smooth transitions from lead generation to closing.
Accurately log all activities, interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system (Monday). Ensure data is up-to-date and complete for seamless collaboration with the sales team.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on outreach goals.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and proven sales techniques. Regularly refine your approach to enhance your lead generation effectiveness and personal sales skills.
Requirements Experience: 5 years experience in sales, customer service, or business development, ideally within the SaaS industry. Experience with lead generation and outbound sales is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and engage decision-makers effectively.
Self-Motivation: Goal-oriented and self-driven, with the ability to manage rejection professionally and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment.
CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM tools such as Monday, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms to manage leads, track activity, and report on progress.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving technology space, and adapt your approach to new challenges.
Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
