As part of a dynamic multinational group, we are seeking a Plant Controller to join our team and take full ownership of the plant’s financial function.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Bag-in-Box and Spouted Pouches Europe, the Plant Controller will oversee all financial activities of the plant, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role includes managing a team of 3 professionals and collaborating across departments to drive financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities Oversee general accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Lead controlling and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely data for decision-making.
Manage the Financial Controlling, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses to support strategic planning.
Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Act as a key partner to operational leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Proven 5+ years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Spanish language desirable.
Solid knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, and Excel.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
