About vertX IQ
vertX IQ AG was founded in 2021 and is based in Zug. The company provides a SaaS platform that is used by institutional investors. The platform is primarily aimed at pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and other institutional investors and supports them in strategic and operational decision-making processes.
**
The Role**
We are looking for a Quant and Business Analyst Intern to support the onboarding of new pension funds, contribute to the development of analytical tools and AI-driven functionalities for our platform. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, AI development, and business strategy within the pension fund and institutional investment space.
Aufgaben
* Assist in the onboarding of new pension funds, ensuring smooth integration into our platform.
* Analyze and proof-check balance sheets and P&L data for accuracy during client onboarding.
* Develop and maintain quantitative models for investment analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessment.
* Contribute to the design of AI-driven functionalities that enhance data insights, automation, and decision-making.
* Conduct market research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking to support business decisions.
* Collaborate with product managers and frontend-engineers to transform data insights into actionable product features.
* Prepare client reports and presentations to support client insights and ongoing client engagements.
* Support internal business process analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifikation
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or Social Sciences.
* Strong skills in Excel, Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and financial modeling.
* Willingness to understand financial statements (P&L, balance sheets), pension fund structures, and investment principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to validate large datasets.
* Strong communication skills in German (mandatory) and English.
* Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and quantitative research.
