Our rapidly growing law practice is seeking a full-time Legal Sales person on our intake team to join our team! This position sets paid appointments for attorneys and is 70% sales and 30% clerical. You will use your sales experience to overcome objections. You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their cases, manage new client onboarding and data entry, and help our sales team book and manage their appointments.

Responsibilities This position is 70% sales and 30% clerical.
Your primary responsibility is to schedule prospective clients for paid appointments to meet with a lawyer to discuss their divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, or contempt case.
Your role is to listen to the client with care and empathy, schedule the people for appointments who we can potentially help, and direct the people we can't help to other available resources.
You will type detailed, sensitive confidential notes with accuracy at the same time that you are listening to the client.
You will use your sales training and skills to build rapport, discuss features and benefits, overcome client objections, and schedule prospective clients to meet with our firm.
Draft emails and business correspondence without the use of templates.
Follow up with leads generated (prospective divorce and family law clients who have indicated that they need help online, via telephone, referrals, and other sources). Calendar dates and document calls.
Handle sensitive and confidential data with care and in accordance with company policy.
E-file legal documents online.
Maintain prospective client reports and other sales data.
Book consultations for prospective clients with our lawyers to expand our caseload and ensure meeting schedules are accurate.
Screen incoming potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of the firm, while helping the caller feel heard and understood.
Qualifications Strong computer and data entry skills.
Background in the legal industry preferred.
Strong ability to communicate eloquently and empathetically is a must.
CRM and case management software experience a plus.
Sales or customer service experience highly valued.
High school diploma or equivalent needed, while a Bachelor’s degree is desired.
Compensation $12 - $15 hourly
