Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Consultant to join our Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand recognition, and increase Caterpillar parts and services awareness in the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies targeting the European market.
* Translate complex business and marketing data into actionable recommendations.
* Manage the marketing budget and ensure all activities provide a return on investment.
* Coordinate and oversee marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events, collaborating closely with our dealer partners for POS activations.
* Work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
* Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making necessary adjustments for optimization.
* Ensure compliance with European marketing regulations and standards.
* Report on marketing activities and results to senior management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the European market.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and data analysis.
* Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
* Understanding of construction industry and aftermarket solutions is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of industry-specific best practices and trends.
* Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
* Basic knowledge of CRM software and marketing automation tactics.
Additional Information:
A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
Required Business Travel: up to 30%
