Process Engineer Utilities
As a Prime consultant, you will play a key role in providing your technical expertise to our client, a Swiss technology leader on a global scale. Your contributions will help drive innovation, optimize processes, and deliver high-impact solutions across diverse industries worldwide. Your work will contribute to boosting performance, productivity, and safety, with a focus on the design, optimization, and management of utility systems essential for production processes.
Your mission :
* Design, optimize, and oversee utility systems (e.g., steam, cooling water, compressed air, and wastewater treatment).
* Analyze and improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of utility systems to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
* Lead or support projects related to the installation, upgrade, or maintenance of utility systems, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* Provide technical expertise to operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to utility systems.
* Ensure utility systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, EHS specialists, and project managers, to integrate utility systems into overall plant operations.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
* Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the performance and sustainability of utility systems.
* Willingness to travel across the country and worldwide as required for project support and client collaboration.
Your profile :
* Degree or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Process Engineer or similar role, with a focus on utility systems in the chemical, petrochemical, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of utility systems (e.g., steam, cooling water, compressed air, HVAC, wastewater treatment) and their integration into production processes.
* Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD) and CAD software.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to utilities and process safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
* Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Italian, German or French is a plus.
* Willingness to travel across the country and worldwide as needed.
* Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is desirable.
