Your Responsibilities:
* Develop solution concepts and specifications for MES projects.
* Gather, document, and analyse customer requirements to design tailored MES solutions.
* Oversee project management of MES implementations, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and project budgets.
* Work closely with a developer team to execute tasks, define next steps, and optimise system performance.
* Serve as the interface between customers and internal teams, collaborating with automation, digitisation, and data science departments.
* Continuously expand knowledge of technical systems, interfaces, and industry trends.
* Lead discussions and provide technical guidance to customer specialist groups.
Your Profile:
* Degree or training in automation technology, computer science, business informatics, or software development.
* Relevant professional experience in production or industrial environments.
* Strong requirements engineering background.
* Ideally, experience with databases and high-level programming languages (alternative qualifications in automation, MES, or production systems are also valued).
* Experience in chemical and pharmaceutical industries is an advantage.
* Familiarity with MES platforms (Siemens, AVEVA, Rockwell) is a plus.
* Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken).
* Excellent soft skills and facilitation abilities for stakeholder engagement.
* Strong understanding of technical processes and system interactions.
* High quality awareness and openness to new technologies and challenges.
* Analytic and abstraction skills combined with strong social competence.
