Job Description
The R&D Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of complex R&D projects for our relevant products, ensuring timely completion within scope and in line with company expectations. Reporting to the Senior R&D Manager, this role involves regular collaboration with surgeons to obtain valuable clinical feedback.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the following activities:
* Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for R&D projects related to our products, ensuring successful delivery.
* Surgeon Interaction: Collaborate regularly with surgeons to gather detailed clinical insights on product designs, applying their expertise to optimize product development.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality and regulatory requirements.
* Stakeholder Management: Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any risks or issues that may arise.
* Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
* Resource Management: Ensure optimal use of resources for assigned projects, working closely with team leads and department heads.
* Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medical devices.
* Problem-Solving: Resolve project-related issues efficiently and effectively, minimizing impact on project deadlines.
* Leadership: Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Requirements
Hard Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in project management within the medical devices industry, with a proven track record of success in leading R&D projects.
* Excellent knowledge of 3D design and Solidworks/MATLAB.
* Strong skills in planning, execution, and resource management across multiple projects.
* Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, including working with surgeons and other stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and resolve project issues efficiently.
* Willingness to travel for congresses and surgeon meetings.
