Work in Switzerland in the Production of Fruit Jam - Vacancy in Lucerne, Switzerland
The plant for the production of fruit preserves and jams invites men, women, and couples under 55 to work on the production line. No work experience or language proficiency is required.
Responsibilities:
1. Controlling the loading of the right ingredients for jams
2. Working on the production line
3. Checking the finished product for the absence of defects
4. Labeling of cans and soft bags with the product
5. Packing products in boxes and containers. Most of the processes are automated.
There is no need to lift weights; boxes and containers with products are transported by forklifts. Upon arrival at the workplace, a tour of the production and training at each stage with the curator will be provided.
Payment:
Hourly rate – 20€/net hour. Monthly salary ranges from 3200€ to 5800€ (net). Shifts of 8-12 hours from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of taking extra shifts on weekends (weekend rate 30€/net per hour). Lunch is half an hour, and there are 3 breaks of 10 minutes, all paid at the rate. The first training day lasts 8 hours and is compensated at a rate of 10€/net per hour. Starting from the second working day, the full rate applies. Wages are paid twice a month (advance payment and the main part), without delay.
Conditions:
Accommodation is provided at the expense of the employer in a cottage village near the workplace. Payment is only for utilities (approximately 100€ per month). Rooms are shared (2-4 people), and couples are settled separately. Each cottage is equipped with necessary household appliances and furniture. There are common lounges, internet, television, and communications. Equipped canteens and a buffet are available at the production site. It is possible to buy lunches, and you can also bring your own food. Working uniforms (2 sets) and replacements are provided free of charge.
